Buwan ng Wika is held every month of August. Here in GCIC we celebrated it in August 31 with events like Salutugba, Dibuho, Pista sa Nayon, and of course, Sabayang Pagbigkas. Buwan ng Wika this year was celebrated with the theme “Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik”
This event held in our school is memorable for me because I was chosen to sing with my classmates for the opening prayer of the said event. Which is my very first singing performance in GCIC.
We really prepared for this event because we want to win and because this event is in line with our strand, HUMSS. So we showed that this event is for us.
I was also part of the Propsmen who made their props, their costumes for BNW.
The thing about this event that makes it special because our strand, HUMSS, won 3 titles; Champion, Sabayang Pagbigkas HUMSS 11, 1st Place Dibuho HUMSS 11, and Champion, Salutugba, HUMSS 12.
