Utilization of ICT in the Community

So first of all, what is ICT?

“Information and Communications Technology or ICT refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology (IT), but focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication mediums.”

Now that we know what ICT is, the question is “how do we utilize it?”

I’ll use my family as an example. My siblings and I use technology to connect with our friends through social media, and to be productive in school, we also use it for research and to make school papers. My parents use technology to connect with their officemates, to get updates and to connect with our families that are abroad.

We use it properly and safely by not accessing suspicious sites, not posting everything; privacy.
